As made in Mullingar with Grace. Can be made using other characters too, like Princesses, Pirates, Unicorns or Aliens, the only limit is your imagination!
You Will Need:
Two Paper Plates
Monster Hands and Mouth (found on Google images)
Strips of coloured tissue or crepe paper
Elastic String (or any thin string will do)
Gems/decorations etc.
Googley Eyes
Markers/colours
Glue and Scissors and Stapler and Hole Punch
Instructions:
1. Cut one of the paper plates in half and then staple it to the other plate so the half plate creates a little pocket in front of the other plate
2. Punch two holes in the top of the full paper plate and then tie some elastic string between the two holes to make a handle
3. Use glue to stick the strips of tissue paper all over the bag, to give the effect of a hairy monster. The strips that are hanging from the bottom can also be cut into smaller strips to make it look like a bit of a beard
4. Cut out and colour the mouth and hands and stick them on. Then add as many eyes as you want him to have
5. Decorate with gems and stickers and your monster bag is finished!
